Beijing-Lhasa-Nepal Tour

The best trip together with China Tour, China-Tibet train ride,  & drive to Nepal. The tour begins after arrive in Beijing airport and doing sightseeing in Beijing visiting Great Wall, Tian Anmen Square, Tomb of Ming dynasty, temple of Heaven and continue to Lhasa riding on train.

Day by Day Program

Day 01, Arrive Beijing: You will be met on arrival in Beijing airport. An afternoon, visit Tian Anmen and temple of heaven. Overnight in Beijing.

Day 02, Beijing- Full day visit of Badaling section of Great Wall, Tomb of Ming Dynasty, Sacred way and in the evening enjoy roast duck dinner. Overnight at hotel. B/D

Day 03-04 Beijing-Lhasa: Visit Palace Museum and Summer Palace ( if time permit ). Take evening train to Lhasa.

Day 05 Arrive -Lhasa: On arrival in Gonggar Airport in Lhasa meet with our Tibetan tour escort and drive to Lhasa (90km). Overnight Hotel Shambala. B

Day 06 Lhasa:  This morning visit Potala- awinter palace of Dalai Lamas. The tour continues to Jokang Temple-situated in the center of the old section of Lhasa. Overnight at hotel. B

Day 07, Lhasa: This morning visit Drepung-the monastery occupying an area of 250000 square meters with a fixed number of 7700 monks is the largest monastery in Tibet. The tour continues to Sera monastery-situated 3 km distance to the northern suburb of Lhasa. Also visit Norbulingka and Barkhor Bazaar. Overight at hotel. B

Day 08 Lhasa-Gyantse: Early breakfast and drive to the southwest of Lhasa. It is about 260-km drive crossing Kampala Pass and Karol Pass. You will able to see Yamdok Tso lake-one of the three largest lakes of Tibet. If time permit visit Palcho Monastery and Kumbon Pagoda on arrival in Gyantse. Overnight at Hotel Wutse. B

Day 09, Gyantse-Shigatse: Breakfast at hotel and drive toward Shigatse about 70 Km in distance. On arrival, you will visit Tashilunpo Monastery-is the biggest Gelugpa Monastery in Tsang region of Tibet. Overnight at Hotel. B

Day 10, Shigatse-Xegar ( Shegar ) :  Early breakfast and Drive to Shegar via Shakya Monastery.  Overnight in hotel or guest house. B

Day 11, Shegar-Base Camp-Tingri: An early morning drive toward EBC Everest Base Camp ( some 100 km away ). Than drive back to Tingri. In a clear weather, one can view the Mt Everest, and other giant Himalayas from the room itself. B

Day 12, Tingri-Zhangmu: After breakfast, we start drive to Zhangmu (about 281 km in distance). Scenic drive through the Tibetan plateau and passes. You will be able to see great Himalayan range en-route. Overnight at hotel. B

Day 13, Zhangmu-Nagarkot: Your holiday in Tibet ends today after crossing the Friendship bridge. We will transfer you to Kathmandu. Before we go to Kathmandu, we over night in Nagarkot.         BD

Day 14, Nagarkot-Kathmandu: An early morning sunrise view from Nagarkot. Our tour guide will meet you at hotel and drive to Bhaktapur. Late morning enjoy a tour of Bhaktpur. An afternoon visit Patan Overnight hotel in Kathmandu. B

Day 15, Explore Kathmandu: Enjoy a morning tour of Kathmandu and tour continue to Swayambhunath stupa (one of the world’s biggest Buddhist stupa). An afternoon visit Pashupatinath temple (the temple of Hindus), Boudhanath stupa. Overnight at hotel. (BD)

Day 16, Departure:  Sadly your tour concludes this morning after breakfast. You will be transferred to Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu for your onward flight.     B
