EBC- Everest Base Camp

Everest CHOMOLUNGMA in Tibetan mother Goddess of the earth, the highest mountain in the world. The name of Everest is magic in itself. The attractions include spectacular scenery and the outgoing Sherpa people of Solukhumbu the region where Mt. Everest and its attend lesser peaks are located, Solukhumbu region has sweeping glaciers, magnificent mountains forest animals birds and Monasteries. 

Day by day program

Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu. You will meet on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Kathmandu City Tour-Discover Kathmandu, see the sights, including Durbar Square, Kastmandap temple, the temple of living Goddess (Kumari), Big Bell, temple of Taleju, and continue to Swayambhunath Stupa which is said to be more than 2000 years old, one of the biggest Bhuddist Stupa in the world. This afternoon free for relaxation. Overnight at hotel.     B

Day 03 Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding (3-4hrs). This morning you will be transferred to domestic terminal of Tribhuwan international airport in Kathmandu for your flight to Lukla. You will be met on arrival in Lukla by the other crews of your of journey. Your journey will start from here toward Phakding. It is on 2827m high on the East part of Nepal. It continues to climb through Mushe and Chaunrikharka at 2680m to Chaplung then drops to Ghat at 2550m another climb take you to Phakding at 2650m. Overnight in Phakding.  BLD

Day 04 Phakding to Namche (6-7hrs). Depart early for Namche. Today is all the way climb up to the Namche. It climbs to Benker at 2700m then Chomoa, with the curious Hatogo Lodge run by a resident Japanese gentleman and Monjo before dropping down to cross the Dudhkoshi, On the other side its up to Jorsalle at 2850m. It•s a steady climb from here to Namche Bazaar at 3440m. Overnight at Namche. BLD

Day 05 Namche-Rest day for acclimatizing. BLD

Day 06 Namche-Tyangboche. Shyangboche airstrip on 3720m above the sea level. The trail descends to the Dud Koshi at 3250m, where there is a small teashop and series of picturesque water driven prayer wheels. A steep ascent brings you to Tyangboche at 3870m. The famous monastery your favorite with its background of Amadoblum, Everest and other peaks was burnt down in 1988 although being rebuilt 1990. Overnight in Tyangboche. BLD

Day 07 Tyangboche-Dingboche: Each day we start early in the morning. Today journey through Deboche, Milinggo, Pangboche below 4000 m. for nearly 2 hours. After Pangboche we cross over 4000 m. We take right trail from Samso. Nearly three hours from Pangboche to Dingboche. Overnight at Dingboche. BLD

Day 08 Dingboche-Lobuche: Journey continues to through Dusa (4503 ) Dughla (Thokla )4503 m and cross Thok-la (4830m) one of the highest pass of the trip. La means pass in Tibetan. Most of trekkers suffer altitude sickness around this place. (6-7 hours) . Overnight at Lobuche. BLD

Day 09 Lobuche -Gorakchep-Kalapather-Gorakchep: Wake up at 3•o•clock now ready for mission Gorakshep at 5160m.  Take nearly 2 hours climb up to Kalapather ( means black rock )  at 5545m. This Peak offers the best view of Everest, Pumori, Nuptse and many more. Overnight in Gorakchep or Lobuche. BLD

Day 10, Gorkchep-EBC-Thukla: An early morning proceed to Everest Base Camp (5364) where you can see glacier, ice fall and camping site. After than we proceed down to Thokla. After our mission to EBC journey is all the way descend down. Overnight in Thokla ( 4620m ). BLD

Day 11, Thokla-Tyangboche: Today our journey follows Lobuche Khola ( river ) to Phariche and continues toward Samso and Tengboche. BLD

Day 12, Tangboche to Khumjung (5-6hrs). Journey descends down to Imja Khola after crossing a bridge ascends to Sanasa. On arrival, you can have a chance to visit Sherpa village and people. Also you enjoy magnificent views of mountains. Overnight at Khumjung. BLD

Day 13, Khumjung to Phakding : Each day descending toward Lukla. Today travel through Syangboche, Namche, Jorsalle and Overnight in Phakding.   BLD

Day 14,  Phakding-Lukla: Take an easy hike toward Lukla. After arrival in Lukla you may go around your own. This evening you will enjoy farewell dinner with local drink and all your trekking crews.  Overnight in Lukla. BLD

Day 15, Lukla to Kathmandu: An early morning take flight to Kathmandu on arrival drive to hotel. An afternoon at leisure and last minute shopping. The evening enjoy with farewell dinner with Nepalese dance and wine. BD

Day 16 Depart Kathmandu: Your holiday in Nepal ends today. You will be transferred to airport to Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu to board with your onward flight. B
